Just being ME

Please say hello ... I love comments!

happy new year ...

With bubbly in one hand, and time on the other, I make a wish for 2008 to be a Prosperous and Happy New Year to all I have met over the latter few months of 2007.

I really do believe that through the blog friendship I have made with you all, and reading all the thoughtful comments left for me, has been instrumental in giving me added confidence to make a huge decision, which is going to lead to a change in my life in 2008, which who knows without you, I may never have made.

Bottoms Up!

Hi Louise,
Thank you for that lovely comment you left me, you are a sweetie! I realize that I haven't visited your blog for a little while, so I've some catching up to do too. Loved those mad boxing day bathers! I've added you in my blogroll too as I realized you weren't there. MUST TRY HARDER! Have a great New Year, catch up with you in 2008.

Bottoms up to you too Louise!!! Wishing you all good things for 2008 and now you've got me wondering what you;re going to be up to! Good luck with it all. I am indebted to blogging for the return of my confidence.
PS I think I would rather be walking on the Downs than swimming in the sea like those bathers below!

I wish you all the best in the new year too! I am so glad we found each other. Its so nice to find a kindred spirit, even so far apart. Your blogs and comments are always thoroughly heart-warming and an absolute delight.

I am further glad you are feeling better. Being sick, like surgery, is for the birds.

I think you will enjoy one of my favorite quotes as much as I do for the new year, "I work to live. I don't live to work." I don't know who said that, but I take it to heart daily.

Best wishes and all my love for 2008!

Happy New Year Louise! Here's to a great 2008 for us all.

You asked which one I am in the old B & W photo on my blog... I am the tallest; the eldest in my group of sibs. Funnily enough..both my sisters and I reached exactly the same height... 5' 2" ... shorties.

I like to visit your blogs ...always interesting and informative "stuff" to see... your photos are wonderful. It seems we are both very observant and interested in our surroundings... find plenty in any hour of any day to fill our lives. I can honestly say that "bored" has never entered my vocabulary... nor will it. I wish I could magically find about 10 more hours in every day.

Good luck with whatever changes and new endeavors you are planning ..

Olivia, if you are looking in, I have tried leaving a comment on your blog, but I have been unable to. Thank you so much for visiting mine, your blog looks so interesting. I liked your article on Blue Tits and Winter Jasmine, two of my favourites. If you have time pop over to my garden blog, Winter Jasmine won my monthly poll. Louise
