Can you spot the difference?
the tudors ...
Well another week at work done and dusted, John is off fishing, so I have had a relaxing evening with my bowl of kettle chips catching up with the goings on in The Tudors, a lavish drama on Friday BBC2 at 9.00. Forget the historical (hysterical) inaccuracies I am enjoying this series, although in history Henry VIII was strikingly good looking in his twenties, and of tall stature. It was only in later life that he became the grotesque figure as portrayed, possibly brought on by his failure to produce a legitimate male heir to the throne. Maybe we could be more convinced of this series' authenticity if Jonathan Rhys Meyers had auburn tints run through his hair and a box to stand on!

I love this series! (and Kettle chips) He is dashingly handsome..Mr Rhys Meyers but have you seen his skinny little legs..they are like pieces of string! I don't suppose many men look their best in a pair of 40 denier tights!
My son is a big history fan and I let him watch one episode where I had to keep putting my hand over his eyes to spare the blushes.. lots of bodice ripping!

For some reason I have missed all this series - last night Andy Murray was to blame. Lou - you have now morphed into a TV reviewer :)
Thankyou for visiting my blog, I've really enjoyed reading your posts. I am inspired to make Toad in the Hole, one of son's favourites and I haven't cooked it for ages. Think we must have had a birthday round about the same time (28th) and my cards are still up - agree about the dusting! If you live in west sussex then you are probably not far away from me (Fareham). I'll visit again.
I have just noticed (and chuckled) at the restaurant's chalkboard comment which will definitely be passed on to many friends. Please can you let us know some more of their witticisms (is that spelt correctly?)
