Just being ME

Please say hello ... I love comments!

six random facts about me ...

The print above is titled 'waiting for the shops to open'. If painted this very day, it could well have been titled 'queuing for an NHS dentist'!

Recently Pat from Mille Fiori Favoriti invited me to do this tag. Here are the rules:

1. Link to the person who “tagged” you.
2. Post the rules on your blog.
3. Write six random things about yourself.
4. Tag six people at the end of your post.
5. Let each person know that they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.
6. Let the tagger know your entry is up.

So here goes, with number one.

If I had more money than I knew what to do with, I would buy an original L S Lowry painting, as I love them!

I buy pretty notebooks and then don't write in them, most odd!

I love the smell of oil of cloves, even though it reminds me of having toothache as a child!

I always leave one dumpling on my plate, to eat last!

I can write backwards!

I like nutty chocolates the best, so what does this say about me!

I need to nominate six blog friends to forward this tag on to. This is the tricky part, I know some have already done this one, but who hasn't, let's have a think?

Please don't fret if you don't do tags or just haven't the time, just ignore my plea!

I like pretty notebooks too. The trouble is that if you write in them you feel that you've ruined them! Well I do anyway!! I'll give the tag a miss if you don't mind Louise. I did 7 random facts about me back in March and I struggled then!!!

I know what you mean about notebooks. As for chocolate I love the nutty ones too. Although there aren't usually many that I don't like.

I would also love an original Lowry, I went to the Lowry about 4 years ago and it was stunning! I like to leave a dumpling to last as well, as my children say 'save the best till last' lol

Thanks for playing along with the tag, Louise! It was fun learning new things about you! :-)

I can honestly say I like, or do, all the same things as you, except writing backwards! I never got the hang of that although I did try. I always wondererd how Leonardo da Vinci did that.

Great random facts, I too love notebooks and paper and pens and.... oh I just have a WH Smith obsession ok:) Writing backwards is pretty impressive. I always save a best bit until last when I'm eating too, and have to stab at Mr Twigs while he tries to steal my roast potato/yorkshire pudding, while he says, oh I thought you didn't want it - cheek!

Hi Louise,
Thanks for the visit. I too have a mini mountain of lovely, unused notebooks - and I always save something nice on my plate until last.

Ha.. your random facts never surprise me Louise.. I seem to share 90% of them..empty notebooks, nutty chocolate and clove oil are all faves of mine. Not sure about writing backwards though.. I have enough trouble writing forwards..

I like your list. I like the smell of cloves too. It was often used on toothache, and some dentists still employ it in their practise. Nutty chocolate is wonderful.....

Love your list Louise! I share the same notebook habit as you..and the writing backwards is very impressive..I can't do that, but can write left-handed neatly :D Gx

Funny about the oil of nutmeg. There must be some surpressed memory of comfort associated with it. I too, love nutty choclates, especially if they have some caramel in them. :)

I have heaps of pretty notebooks, but I do actually write in them. The trouble is when I go back to the notebook after a week or two, I can't write in it again, I have to start a new one.

Someday you'll have to have a Louise Trivia Quiz and see what we remember about you! I like nutty chocolates - but hey, I think they could just hook up an I.V. and give the chocolate intravenously and I'd be happy...I love pretty notebooks and I write in them - all of them - a little in each. Then i can't ever find which notebook I wrote the thing in that I am looking for!

May I ask you: United Kingdom is not in Europe???!!! :)))

(and now i leave very softly for a look at your shop)

Enjoyed your random choices ~ like many above, I also share a lot of them ~ esp. the notebooks! My favorite use of writing backwards, is giving a note to the children at school when there's a message from their parents. It doesn't take long for them to turn the message over and put it up to the light! Some can even read backwards now!
