travel journal ...
This colourful travel journey was given to us as a gift by family, before we set off on our whistlestop tour of a small part of the Antipedes and the Far East, back in late January, early February of this year. I believe it came from Paperchase? It has great sections for writing, sketching (if you can!), snippets and photographs, and a nice little pocket at the back for storing all those little things that you just can't throw away.
From our travels I brought home, which fills up a large shoebox, memories from our trip, which will eventually be put down in words, and bits 'n bobs stuck in the journal. Don't forget I have my Postcards from Oz travel blog on the go too, which with very limited time, I am trying to keep updated, before I forget all these terrific memories I have.
If the posts on my other blogs become few and far between, or I forget to visit and leave comments, this is where I am likely to be for a while.

always good to get excuses in early! ;o)
The travel book is fabulous, it looks very pretty and a great gift idea!
Memories have a habit of slipping away unless we record them! Good move!
What a terrific idea, Louise! I don't travel much and never think to keep a very good travel journal. But with a trip coming up, I think I will try.
Three blogs on the go, yikes, I am finding it enough to keep two going, AND I have help!
A great gift to have..I am journaling my trip here in Arizona on my blog..it will be nice for me to look back on ...on those rainy gloomy days...or next winter when I am looking out through frosty windows! Nice stopping by..hugs NG
We bought a journal like that for our friend when she went to New Zealand and she used it all the time too It's great to keep all those memories together and also to have a blog for that purpose too.

Definitely get those memories taken care of before they slip into oblivion. I found I did the same thing shortly after returning from our UK trip last spring. As a result, I know exactly where each and every picture we took was taken, and we took a lot. I actually turned them into my screen saver at work, so when it comes up I remember where each picture was taken, and the moment in which it was taken.
Happy reminiscing!
P.S. I left a new comment on the "Bad Dog" blog in response to your question. :)

Also, thanks for yor kind responses on my blog. You seem like a nice person. Smiles, Carol
That's a very nice journal, Louise! I find it helps to write everything down too, because if I don't do that I foget all the little trip details such as the names of restaurants, etc.
