oatie rounds ...
2oz caster sugar
4oz soft margarine
4oz rolled oats
2oz plain flour
Preheat oven to 160oC
o
Cream together sugar and margarine, then work in oats and flour. Knead lightly on a floured surface, roll out to desired thickness, cut into rounds and place on a greased baking tray.
o
Bake for about 20 mins or until beginning to colour.
o
Instead of rounds, I cut my biscuits with a heart-shape cutter, and used Dorset Cereal's fruity porridge instead of rolled oats, doubling the quantity to make bigger, chunkier biscuits!
o
These biscuits are easy-peasy to make, and go down a right treat with a cup of tea or coffee!

I can almost smell the baking! Put the kettle on, I'm on my way.
Hi Louise! It was so nice to hear from you! I haven't posted for so long, I figured everyone would forget about me.
I'll sort out my hours with work (I'm in the process of doing) and eventually I'll get some of my life back ;)
I'm harvesting leeks and I made some awesome leek and potato soup over the weekend. I'll need to perfect as I've never made it before. My family is fine with me practicing, of course!
I like your blogs!
