some Shoreham Airshow shadowshots ...

Another great day was spent at the Shoreham Airshow, which this year celebrates its 20th anniversary. With the first show raising £1,500, it now raises more than 1.5 million, with proceeds going to RAFA. It really is a fantastic day out, with something for everyone.
A jaw-dropping highlight of my day being the appearance of the Avro Vulcan Bomber XH558!
We only live a few miles away from the airport, so I'm really looking forward to seeing parts of the displays again from the garden, on its second day tomorrow.

This looks like the sort of place my dad would absolutely love!
There is some very impressive aircraft there.

It looks, and sounds, like you had a great day!
Much I like the Vulcan I really do prefer seeing the wonderful real (or rather replica) old-timers puttering around the sky. xx

We saw quite a lot of these aircraft flying over our house and my husband was annoyed that he hadn't known it was on, otherwise we would have gone.

Those pictures are really great. I love the yellow car. I would pay to go to that show as well. It looks like it was a lot of fun!

What wonderful photos .... and a glorious day.

Still think of Shoreham airport as my landmark for getting off the train at the station!
