a Christmas sing-a-long song ...

Which is/are your favourite Christmas tune(s)?

Every year I find myself singing along to the video of Peace on Earth/Little Drummer Boy when it makes an annual appearance on the music channels.

It's from Bing Crosby's Merrie Olde Christmas, a 1977 television special.

If you want to join in with this classic Bing and Bowie mash-up, click on the song title above.

Talking of the music channels...have you seen Tony Christies version of Slade's 'So Here It Is Merry Christmas'? It is unbelievably cheesy and I just love it!! My favourite though is Wham's 'Last Christmas'!

Great video Louise. I think their voices really compliment each other. I love most Christmas songs but really Love Mariah Carey's 'all I want for Christmas- is you' song. x

Lovely song. My fave is I wish it could be Christmas every day by Wizzard, I mentioned it on my blog. Mr Twigs argues that Slade is better :)

PS When it comes to carols - In the bleak Mid winter, does it for me!!

I love so many Christmas songs, especially carols and hymns. but sometimes I think of the silly songs and have a good laugh. (Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer; All I Want For Christmas is a Hippopatamus, stuff like that).

I like that song. My favourite Christmas song is Greg Lake's 'I believe in Father Christmas' my favourite carol is 'In the Bleak Midwinter' but it has to be to Holst's music not the more modern one:)

Happy Christmas Louise.

I like The fairy tale of New York and I'm with Rosie with "in the Bleak Midwinter" by Christina Rossetti. Bing Crosby can do no wrong either.

Oh there are so many favourites Louise ~ I did enjoy this version of The Little Drummer Boy.

I like I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday ~ reminds me of my youth and for carols ~ In The Bleak Midwinter is one of my favourites too.

Happy Christmas to you and your family.
