new blogging beginnings and a thank you ...

As British Summertime begins, new blogging beginnings begins. From this day forward I vow to find a little more time to blog post on a more regular basis. Over the past six months or so, what with one thing and another (a new job, holiday, computer crashing, a dose of flu, holiday, a rotten cold), I haven't had the necessary thinking time to commit to a blog. I have missed taking the photos, writing, receiving word from bloggy friends, and of course visiting and commenting on your blogs too.

I'd like to thank (you know who you are) for not giving up on me and for continuing to look in at my blog, and to thank you for continuing to leave the interesting and kind comments that you do.

I'd like to welcome the following bloggy friends (click on the links to visit). All have left a comment or two on my blog since the start of the new year, thank you -

A Bun Can Dance
A Tale in Action
Cathy's Capers
Corners of my Mind
Crafty Conundrum
Glitter B
Inside the White Picket Fence
Leafblogotanicals
Lissylou and the Two Little Boys
Paisley Jade
Silverpebble
Skipping in the Meadow
The Blueberry Patch
Thirtyfive Flowers

I invite everyone who visits my blog, to cut and paste the 'bloggy friends' logo above, onto your blog.

Being new to your blog I had a different perspective - I hadn't noticed any change! It's interesting how differently bloggers can respond to life events. I stopped altogether for a while. Looking forward to more lovely posts! Emma x

It does get difficult at times keeping a blog going, I think everyone needs a break now and then.
Thanks for listing all your new bloggy friends now I will have to go and take a look at all their lovely blogs.

Thanks for the link... and I love the flower pic! Yellow is my fav colour. We are entering autumn here in NZ so it's nice to see some spring from your end.

Sometimes life just gets in the way but that's what it's all about, if we din't live our lives we'd have nothing to blog :) You have always had a lovely blog Louise. I'll enjoy dropping by more often :)

Why, thank you, Louise, don't mind if I do. It's really cute! And welcome back (more regularly). It seems a lot of favs are taking a break just now. Welcome to all the newbies!

Enjoy you summer season! Lovely flower photo.
Spring is such a busy time at our house...planting, painting, home repair, yard sales, etc. I expect my blog activity will slow down a bit. But, I too, enjoy it so much, so hopefully I can turn a few of the projects into blog posts.

Oh I've been really struggling to keep up with my blog. So I am going to try to blog at least once a month.

What a lovely post. Hope you find the time to do more blogging, it does seem to be very difficult to get the balance sometimes. Good luck and have a great weekend (it's a bit grey here today)

Hi Louise!
It's always fun to come here. I really love your photos! I think we all have fits and starts in all areas of our lives. Sometimes blogging is just hard! But I love it. I am a much better crafter when I blog and that's what's important to me. Hope to see more of you!
